AAPP
The LECOM chapter for The American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists promotes awareness of mental illness and neurologic disorders in order to provide optimal patient care. AAPP provides students with the opportunity to have a positive impact on the mental health and neurologic community. Student pharmacist will gain more specialized knowledge in this area of pharmacy and therefore will contribute to providing safe and effective treatment as well as positive outcomes to our patients as future pharmacists. A membership in AAPP gives students the ability to participate in leadership roles, community service, fundraising activities, and an opportunity to learn from guest speakers as well as other experts within the community.
